1545 - 1715 | 12 | Group Work – Choice of Law Exercise: Working in groups representing a mixture of jurisdictions, delegates will consider a planned joint venture spanning multiple jurisdictions. The objective will be to analyse the advantages and disadvantages of choosing one of a range of laws as the law to govern the joint venture agreement. Delegates will contribute to the discussion from their own knowledge of their own laws and the tutor will assist by explaining the position in English law. Each group will be expected to reach a conclusion as to the most favourable governing law, balancing the advantages and disadvantages of each system which has been considered | Group Work session |
