1430-1445 | 10 | Simple Interim Applications - Paired up with an advocate from the other group, pairs of delegates will make their applications for extensions of time to each other and will provide each other with structured feedback. 0945-1100 | 3 | More Complex Interim Applications - Working in trial teams before the tutors acting as High Court Masters, the claimant delegates will make applications for summary judgment and the defendant delegates will defend the applications. | Group Work – Civil Case Study |

1115-1130 | 5 | Trial briefing - A tutor will explain the arrangements for the rest of the day, including the trial teams, the roles to be played at the trial and the preparation required. | Plenary |
