Lectures

Lectures of up to 1½ hours plus facilitated problem discussion

The series

These lectures are typically delivered as a series for law firms. A week or so before each lecture a substantial handout, plus slides and a discussion question are sent to the firm for reproduction. The handout can be retained in electronic form in the firm's knowhow management system. Firms usually invite their clients (especially in-house lawyers) as well as staff, so the lectures form part of the firm's practice development offering to clients as well as providing CPD for solicitors and barristers. The only constraint on numbers is the size of the room, so the series can be a very cost effective way of supplying value to clients and CPD to fee earners at the same time.
